No matter how much you think you’re prepared, a new puppy comes at you with constant poops (not always outdoors), super sharp baby teeth and a whole range of unpredictable behaviours. Remember to enjoy each and every second of it, because we all know they grow up way too fast. Getting a puppy and bringing them home is exciting and a bit daunting - our puppy care services will help you give your puppy the best start in life, and avoid any potential problems later on.
Socialisation
The first 14 weeks of your puppy's life are what is known as the "Socialisation Period". This is the time when you need to really mix your puppy with as many new people, things and situations as possible; buggies, bicycles, vacuum cleaners, men in hats, umbrellas and everything else! Learning at this age is permanent, so this is a perfect time to start training. This is also the ideal time to introduce the puppy to things that will play an important part in his life. Introduce the puppy to different people, places, animals, and sounds in a positive, non-threatening way.
Play and Companionship
Puppies require regular care during the working day. We can provide companionship, care and potty breaks for your puppy, including house and/or garden play and/or a short walk near your house. For puppies this early routine can evolve into a full walk as they get older and stronger, and this will help enormously with the socialisation process.
Puppy Care Service Fees
All visits include feeding, loving and playing with your puppy, and cleaning up any messes made in your absence.
One daily visit: £45
Two daily visits: £80
Extended visits are charged at a flat rate of £18 per hour or pro rata
Each additional pet: £10 extra per visit
Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day will be charged at twice the standard rate.
For locations outside of our immediate area we charge 40p per mile travel expenses.
