In-House Cat Sitting Service
Most cats prefer to stay at home when you are away on holiday or on business. They have their own bed, own surroundings and regular human contact.
Although most domestic cats appear to be very independent, they are territorial animals. They become very attached to their home environment and are naturally frightened of unfamiliar places and smells. Cats are intelligent animals and they need both mental and physical stimulation – play is an important aspect of their behaviour. If they are removed from their territory and their human companions, cats can suffer significant separation stress and suffer from loss of appetite, spraying, scratching, hiding and excessive meowing.
My Pet Nanny will visit once or twice a day to see that all your cats’ needs are catered for. Just listen to your kitty purr!
Important Little Extras
Whichever My Pet Nanny pet sitting service you choose, we will always:
Take in your mail.
Pull your blinds/curtains.
Switch lights on or off, giving you peace of mind and providing extra security for your dog and property.
Clean food and water bowls.
For just £10 plus grocery costs we will make sure that there are provisions like bread and milk awaiting your return; it's all part of the My Pet Nanny service.
CAT SITTING FEES
Cat Sitting Service Fees
We will spend time playing with your cat in addition to feeding and brushing them, and changing the litter box etc. We will, of course, do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have.
One daily visit: £25
Two daily visits: £50
Each additional pet: £10 extra per visit
Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day will be charged at twice the standard rate.
For locations outside of our immediate area we charge 40p per mile travel expenses.
Each visit lasts a minimum of 30 minutes focusing solely on your cat.
Live-in and Overnight Cat Sitting Service Fees
If you like the combination of a house sitter and cat sitter rolled into one, this is for you. If you don't want your cat to sleep alone or to leave your home unattended, our cat sitter will overnight at your home. All your cat's needs are met and they have the comfort of knowing that someone is there with them all night long.
Overnight rate of £95 for up to two cats with a minimum booking period of two days.
Each extra pet £15 per night.
Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day will be charged at twice the standard rate.
For locations outside our immediate area we charge 40p per mile travel expenses.
Rates shown are for overnight stays from 7pm to 7am ONLY. To add daytime visit rates please see above.
Rates will be higher if you require extensive watering of indoor/outdoor plants, cleaning out of hutches/birdcages/cages/litter trays or any other special circumstances that your cats, other pets or home require.
Rates will be lower for clients travelling for extended periods of time over two weeks. Since each human, dog and home are unique please email to discuss your specific needs.
Total pet sitting and day visit rates are estimated in advance based on the information you give us when you book. The final amount payable may vary from this estimate depending on the actual circumstances encountered and hours worked by our sitter.
