We believe that safety should never be compromised. All our Pet Nannies have a qualification in Pet First Aid and CPR. Enjoy peace of mind knowing that your pet sitter knows what to do should an emergency arise while your beloved animal is in their care.

We hand-pick our Pet Nannies using stringent screening practices and demanding skill requirements. They must supply us with personal references and a CRB/DBS background check before they can join our team.

Hello, and a big thank you for spending some of your valuable time with us. I'm Claire, owner of My Pet Nanny (formerly Thames Pet Sitters). I've spent most of my adult life caring for dogs, and was lucky enough to share fifteen years of my life with a beautiful rescue greyhound called Jessie - that's us, above. I'm both crazy about and fascinated by our animal companions, and I don't think we can ever learn enough about the very special relationship we have with them. I hold diplomas in Canine Psychology and Companion Animal Bereavement Counselling, and not forgetting that people need TLC too, I'm also a qualified Holistic Therapist and Reiki Practitioner.

I ran a very successful dog boarding and pet sitting business in New York, and for nearly a decade My Pet Nanny has been providing a reputable, reliable and professional pet sitting service for the south-west London area, including Kew, Richmond, Barnes, Ham, Petersham, St Margarets.
